What Is the Sweethearts’ Ball?

The Sweethearts’ Ball is an annual fundraising event that brings the community together to support children who have experienced a cancer diagnosis. Each year, attendees gather for a themed night filled with entertainment, generosity, and heartfelt connection — all to help fund a week of healing and fun at Camp Journey.

Since its founding, the event has helped send hundreds of children to camp completely free of charge. It’s powered by volunteers, supported by local businesses, and driven by the compassion of individuals who want to make a difference in a child’s life.

About Camp Journey

Camp Journey is a medically supervised summer camp located at Ross Point in Post Falls, Idaho, created for children who have been diagnosed with cancer. With 24/7 onsite care provided by trained oncology staff, it offers a safe and empowering environment where kids can leave their diagnosis behind for a week of crafts, games, nature walks, laughter, and connection. It’s more than just a camp — it’s a community of hope, built to restore confidence, spark joy, and remind every child that they are not alone.
